Summer Day at School

I am a little late posting, they had a "summer day" at school when it was about 30 below. Most of the preschoolers had on winter clothes with sunglasses and various sun hats.

Iced flower cookie @ Starbucks. We met a very adorable elderly woman who was sitting next to us, also having a cookie. She shared with Jack that every day, late afternoon, she has a treat. He found that to be great advice.

Too Cold

The dire need of going to the store in subzero temperatures earned a Treat Date

 We ran out of dog food on literally about the coldest day in decades. We generally have an extra bag in the basement and somehow forgot to replace it when we opened one. We braved the cold, unwillingly, and bought the dogs' weight in dogfood (literally). We won't run out again for awhile...
