We took Jack to Sesame Street Live - Elmo today and he LOVED it! We had 7th row, center tickets so he could see everything pretty close. And it also did not hurt that he fell in love with the 4 year old blond girl with a broken leg sitting right behind us who shared her popcorn with him. So he bought her an Elmo balloon. It starts already :)

Chicago!

Thank you thank you thank you to Grandma Sandy & Grandpa Jim for a long weekend sans Jackson! Though we did not escape the cold upper midwest, we did get out of town for 3 days and were able to enjoy the sights, food, and shopping of Chicago.

Dinners at Takashi & The Publican were to die for, our second stay at The Dana Hotel & Spa was just as great as last time.

Zoo

Rest stop at the MN Zoo, January 2, 2011. This was the only time he slowed down enough for me to snap a picture. And I think each year we visit the zoo on the coldest day possible! I remember going on January 1 last year with our friends Zoe & Charlie and it being -35 windchill. This year on January 2 it was so cold some of the animals were pulled off exhibit!

Work

Worker! We decided to do some upstairs construction in our house (yes, most of you know that after June 2010 we swore off all home projects, that did not last long). Jack put on a hat, and helped. And literally would not let anyone rest!

Pushing Greta

Morgan was nice enough to bring an infant car seat over to loan to our friends Tanya & Brian for their holiday visit to MN. While playing, Greta climbed in and  Jack proceeded to push her all over in it. When she tried to get up he pushed her back in.

More Christmas

This box weighed about what Jack does, he dragged it all around the house by the ribbon before opening it.
