Post Shovel

Shoveling took 2 hours - of course that was the front steps and sidewalk, the back patio, and the driveway.
As you can see, the neighbor's car is still there.

SNOW!!!!

The top 2 pictures are our backyard this morning. Remember there is a 3 foot retaining wall somewhere under there that you can't even tell exists. Also remember we shoveled midafternoon yesterday. The poor little dogs, both went out this AM and just sunk - they survived but are not too excited to go back out again - and these dogs love snow!
The bottom picture is two of our neighbors cars that they left parked on the street. Good luck is what I have to say - they have issued a snow emergency. Which means get them off the street or they get towed.

Messy Marvin

Lotion Incident

Jackson got into the lotion. And got it all over the table. And told me he was "making a cake - a birthday cake".

Hats

Jack had no interest in wearing a hat when we were outside. A little while later he decided two of them were pretty fun, one is a handmade creation by Ang's friend Tanya Johnson. It later doubled as a bag to put all of his cars in so he could easily carry 8 of them from room to room.

Snow Shoes!

Hot chocolate later.

Initial reaction is not promising.

Quite pathetic.

And we are off!

Per the pictures, you can see he was not excited to get his snow shoes on. But as soon as we stepped outside and mom and dad put them on too he was off. There was not even a ramp up period - he just started walking!
