Bike Helmet

Jack's friend Charlie joined him for his first Burley ride of the season last night, along with Charlie's parents Kyle & Zoe. We then stopped for some decadent custard at Liberty - though we probably did not ride long enough to burn off all of the custard calories it was a very fun outing. Jack has been obsessed with his helmet since last night.

Someone, who shall remain unnamed, left a partially finished small Intelligentsia coffee in the drink holder on Jack's carseat. Hmmm...
Jack found the cup rather interesting and we thought it was funny as we were sure it was empty and he was just playing with the cup. Until the car started to smell oddly like ----good coffee. Not quite sure how much he actually drank but enough! He also got it down his shirt and onesie, he smelled like a coffee bean :) Gotta love it!

New Chair

Huge thanks to Grandma Jacque for the adorable new adirondack chair! Billie Gilbraeth is a master woodworker and whoever did the painting did a fantastic job. Jack is enjoying his "big boy" chair and I thought this group of pictures of him in it was funny.

A few years ago Brandon bought a puppy tent at REI - you know, for all that camping we do :)

It has never gotten used and we broke it out yesterday for Jack. It is a hit, he spent all afternoon in and out of it, taking toys and books, and a remote control with him, and eventually inviting Madeline to join him (which she did).
