Vikings

Brandon's office is in WI and there is a woman that he works with that was absolutely distraught about Brett Favre signing with the Vikings. SO - we made #4 cookies, wrapped one up in ribbon with Packer colors, and she found a purple & gold cookie inside. Simple pleasures :)

Little Helper

Cousins!

Grigg's Aunt Laura holding both Grigg and Jack. Jack has never looked so much like a "little boy" vs. a baby until you see these two together.

While visiting Jack displayed the utmost level of concern when Grigg was crying, he giggled when shown Grigg's newborn size diapers, and petted Grigg like he pets the dogs. Amusing all around.

First Tornado

A tornado hit Minneapolis on Wednesday. We had just gotten home from visiting Mike, Ronda, and Grigg. Jack was asleep in his carseat, which came right to the basement with us. We, luckily, did not have any damage but less than 10 blocks from us there are huge trees down all over the place, a gas main broke, and power is still out as of 24 hours later!

The Orchard

Monday we had to pick up Zoe in Hudson so we continued on to Baldwin to have lunch with Brandon. Jack enjoyed "The Orchard" - Baldwin's latest restaurant, which even by big city standards is pretty cool!

GRIGG!

Visiting his new cousin, Grigg Hamilton Maurer, 9lbs 1 oz, 21 inches long.

PGA

Jack enjoys watching the PGA tournament for awhile on Sunday with Daddy.

Jack was putting on quite a show last night. As soon as we turned on the video camera he got quite quiet and despite the fact that the camera had been out all evening, and when you turn it on there are no lights on the front to indicate it is working, he knew it was on.

Pool

Jack LOVES the water. He tried to stand up in his pool on Friday. Quite amusing.

Shaker

The shaker from his Chef Set rarely gets put down.

Park, Take Two

We tried the park again yesterday - for the second time ever. The first time around, it was not a hit. Yesterday - the swing was well received. We will go again, more regularly now.

Strawberries

Thanks to the Petersons for "Food Feeders" - they are used almost daily. Yesterday - the frozen strawberries got a little out of control.

Lunch

YES, it is true. Brandon got Ang to eat BISON on Saturday - and she liked it! Really liked it!

REAL Measuring Spoons

Jack has a child chef set, which includes plastic measuring spoons. He was playing with them yesterday and Brandon got the real ones out. They ended up "trading" and the real ones were quite a hit with Jack.

Jack at Breakfast

We had breakfast at French Meadow this morning.We ordered Jack yogurt - mind you he LOVES strawberry yogurt, but their "plain flavor" created quite a hilarious reaction. Sorry for the grainy video - we did not have the camera along but caught this on cell phone video.
